- Act as a primary contact with WCB by working with medical professionals, WCB claims managers and related agencies
- Report and manage WCB, STD and LTD claims
- Work closely with employees involved in any aspect of the disability management process and conduct return to work meetings as required
- Facilitate accommodation and return to work processes
- Provide support and advocacy for employees who are experiencing extended sick occurrences and/or workplace illness or injury
- Provide support for managers in balancing an employees accommodation/return to work requirements with the needs of the department and organization
- Provide education in regards to Abilities Management programs

**Required Skills**:

Required Experience
- Working knowledge of Alberta WCB guidelines, policies and procedures
- Knowledge of job demands analysis and modified work duties
- Working knowledge of Duty to Accommodate
- Working knowledge of HIA, Privacy legislation, Employment Standards and Human Rights as it relates to Disability Management
- Knowledge of short term and long term disability insurance

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Certificate in Disability Management or equivalent experience required
- Completion of WCB sponsored training programs for WCB claims desirable
- Membership in Canadian Association of Disability Management desirable
- Certification as a Disability Management Professional (CDMP) desirable

**Other Information**:

- As workload demands and operational requirements shift, the location, dates and/or hours of work may be changed
- All persons newly hired to _Dyna_**_LIFE_**_Dx_** must show their confirmation of SIN letter/SIN card and government issued photo ID to Human Resources prior to commencing work.
- All persons hired to _Dyna_**_LIFE_**_Dx _**must be authorized to work in Canada for any employer.
- Individuals hired into all positions must provide verification of their highest level of education.
- A security clearance will be required for employees newly hired to _Dyna_**_LIFE_**_Dx_**.
