**Summary: Custom Broker (Licensed)**

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- Manage a small team of brokerage professionals, providing coaching, direction, and performance reviews.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- The individual will initially reach out to our existing clients to ensure they are aware of CARM and support their efforts in completing their profiles with CBSA.
- Review our data base to ensure the client profiles are accurate and tariffs are in order.
- Liaise with our IT Team importing this data into our CW1 system.
- Work with Marketing in creating the necessary documentation for onboarding new accounts and updating our rate structures with clients and issuance of Customs updates.
- Work hand in hand with our logistics team to grow the brokerage segment of the business.
- Responsible for staffing and maintaining proper training.
- Customs audits - Post summary correction, refunds, and follow-up.

- Good customer service skills.
- Excellent writing and communication. English and second language is a bonus.

**Education and Experience**:

- Certified by CBSA in good standing.
- Minimum of 7 years work experience in Canada.
- Knowledgeable on CARM Program.
- Excellent knowledge of Customs Tariff and Compliance.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- The Position requires working from the office; however, a hybrid work environment is also available.
