**Parts and Service Specialist**

K-Hart Industries Ltd. designs, manufactures, and globally distributes seeding and harvesting equipment for the conservation minded agricultural producer. We are looking for a Parts and Service Manager to help drive the growth of our vibrant company.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Program Management Focus_
- Develop, maintain, and grow Company’s Parts Department
- Create monthly and annual Parts Department goals and budget, in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives.
- Determine and maintain appropriate inventory levels for service parts at different warehouse locations.
- Develop and maintain part pricing strategies.
- Work with Technical Publications to ensure parts catalogue accuracy and communicate changes to customers/dealers.
- Assist in developing and coordinating Company Warranty Claims Process
- Work with the aftermarket and sales teams to coordinate customer clinics, demo days, and related promotional events and trade shows.
- Create parts care kits to ensure smooth customer experience/operation.
- Customer Service Focus_
- Develop and implement practices that contribute to smooth operation and customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers.
- Provide a positive customer service experience by working closely with customers to fully understand their needs and offer effective solutions.
- Promptly and efficiently deal with customer parts questions, aftermarket service, and warranty claims, with expert knowledge and company resources.
- Able to allocate 20% of work time for travel, for 1-2 weeks at a time, for occasional field support/service trips.
- Work closely with Shipping Department to co-ordinate timely shipment of orders.
- Work closely with Purchasing and Manufacturing Departments to maintain minimum stock levels and ensure required inventory.
- Administrative Focus_
- Become proficient in company ERP system to ensure accurate and complete information and timely processing of operations.
- Manage and maintain an accurate and up-to-date parts inventory; Participate and lead in required inventory cycle counts.
- Schedule service work to be done in the field.
- Create customer sales orders, invoice customers, submit documentation to Accounting Department
- Timely completion and submission of parts warranty claims and returns.

**Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**
- A university degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology degree or 3-year Engineering Technologist diploma or extensive experience working in relevant field.
- Knowledge of and experience in parts systems, inventory control procedures, service and whole goods sales environments is an asset.
- 2-3 years of experience in the product field support

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Good English communication skills, written and oral.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a multi-faceted team.
- Strong mechanical skills and equipment troubleshooting experience.
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills to evaluate multiple options and make concise decisions.
- Must have excellent project management skills.
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines utilizing excellent organizational and time management skills.

**Job Type**:

- Full time, permanent
- 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday

**Salary Range**:

- $65,000 to $95,000 per year.
