Small boutique law firm seeking strategic Public Relations Specialist to manage our brand image, external communications, and foster positive relationships with the media.

Job Summary:
As a Public Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our company's reputation and various external audiences. You will develop and execute PR strategies, and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and actively research new PR Strategies
- Create engaging content
- Manage PR campaigns aligned with company goals
- Create strategic PR plans that outline objectives, target audience, key messages, and tactics
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, influencers, etc.
- Produce compelling and engaging content for press releases, articles, and social media
- Plan and execute press conferences, media events, and product launches
- Track and analyze PR campaign metrics, media coverage, and audience engagement
- Create and execute social media strategies, drafting content, offering ideas for fresh content
- Provide regular reports to management on PR effectiveness
- Drafting press materials including press releases, press kit contents, bios, etc.

**Qualifications**:

- A strong writer and editor. This is particularly vital for preparing engaging content
- Previous work experience as a Public Relations Specialist or a similar role
- Established relationships with journalists/news producers
- Demonstrated experience in media relations and securing media coverage
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and online analytics
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M4W 3E2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- public relations: 1 year (preferred)
