As a Materials Analyst/Planner, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining part parameters and interfaces between QAD and Arena. You will also liaise with Receiving, Quality/Engineering, Suppliers, and Operations to ensure the seamless flow of materials to the manufacturing line. This role will also analyze materials requirements and inventory movements to optimize inventory levels in a lean environment and generate key metrics for continuous improvement.

Reporting directly to the Materials Manager, this position is based in Mississauga, Ontario. This position is 100% based in office.

**Major Accountability**:

- Purchase new parts, administration of changes/revisions, and ensure parts availability by setting the right MRP parameters.
- Ensure liaison role for new parts setup, revision changes and providing any documentation or purchasing information.
- Update and maintain MRP parameters to ensure timely material replenishment while maintaining a lean inventory.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Process purchase orders for new parts and PPAP samples to ensure timely implementation of changes.
- Update and maintain parts change tracker and provide timely updates to key stakeholders.
- Process purchase orders for MRO items and complete the procure-to-pay cycle
- Analyze inventory movements, future requirements, and materials shortages to generate periodic KPIs and update management dashboards.
- Release supplier schedules and discrete purchase orders for repetitive purchase parts.
- Assists on invoice holds in resolving grief tags that are assigned to the supply chain for hot side of the business.
- Coordinate with suppliers to update and maintain Compliance Records and contact information.
- Conduct regular supplier surveys to identify root causes of supply performance issues.
- Support the materials teams/groups in special projects.
- Participate and contribute in continuous improvement initiatives.
