The ministry has overall responsibility for the development of a coherent, accessible and culturally safe mental health and addictions system that is effective for individuals and families across the lifespan throughout the province. The Child and Youth Mental Health and Substance Use Policy Branch leads the development, implementation and evaluation of an overarching, integrated mental health and addictions strategic framework and associated actions plans. The branch leads significant and complex projects with high impact/risk outcomes.

The Policy & Project Analyst position provides research and policy analysis/evaluation, and project support for policy development, including coordination and support for Executive-level committees responsible for overseeing the integration of child and youth mental health and substance use services

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree in business administration, public administration, public policy, or equivalent.
- Experience researching policy issues and conducting policy analysis.
- Experience managing projects and/or project components.

**Preference may be given to applicants**:

- With experience conducting research and analysis of issues related to mental health and problematic substance use, health care, health promotion, public health and/or other social service policies, programs or initiatives.
- With experience working with Indigenous organizations and communities.
- With lived experience or experience working with populations with complex health and social challenges.
- Who self-identify as First Nations, Métis or Inuit with the required combination of education and experience.
