Head of TELUS Health Learning

TELUS Health is a leader in providing mental health and leadership training to organizations of all types and sizes. Our variety of learning covers areas from leading a balanced, healthy lifestyle to improving productivity at work, and managing critical workplace incidents. Multiple learning formats and delivery options provide knowledge to employees in the most convenient, effective way possible. TELUS Health Learning solutions are not a one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter experience. Depending upon the format and curriculum needs of our client organizations, we will customize the learning opportunities that fit our customers’ needs today and as their businesses evolve. Learning content customization is available on a wide variety of topics to achieve specific goals and outcomes.

Role Summary

The Head of TELUS Health Learning will be responsible for the overall growth and operations of the TELUS Health Learning business globally. This includes end-to-end accountability for developing strategy and designing and delivering innovative products that meet the market’s evolving needs. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to manage a full P&L including a direct sales team, working with other sales and account management partners to identify business opportunities and grow, managing a team of instructional designers, and working with internal and external partners to deliver amazing training solutions.

The strategy will involve building contemporary learning platforms, adult learning strategies, and mobile learning solutions that meet customer needs while improving the overall effectiveness of our solutions and driving revenue, profit, and market share growth.

The Head of TELUS Health Learning will be a hands-on leader that must possess the ability to build relationships, identify the gaps and find creative solutions in order to meet and exceed internal and external expectations.

**Responsibilities**:
Strategic Planning
- Provide a strategic business perspective to identify and address the needs of the TELUS Health Learning business through effective leadership and business management
- Lead and take overall responsibility for the strategy of the entire TELUS Health Learning team and its operations
- Create multi-year strategic roadmaps that focus on a consistent client experience as well as program robustness while driving cross-channel intakes with a focus on revenue growth, quality and cost reduction opportunities
- Lead strategic efforts to identify and execute initiatives focused on driving measurable benefits and revenue improvement
- Pinpoint key trends and areas of growth while reviewing and evaluating performance results in the areas of learning solutions

Internal Operations & Client Service
- Oversee the ongoing development of guidelines, processes, standard operating procedures, methodologies, controls, and overall best practices to enhance core capabilities and to realize efficiencies
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure functional interdependencies are addressed and overall customer experience is elevated.
- Maintain client relationships and establishing rapport with key decision makers and influencers
- Solicit feedback from clients and adjust the plan, as needed
- Ensure consultants are exceeding client expectations
- Evaluate business risks and setup mitigation plans
- Actively participate as the leader of the TELUS Health Leadership team by attending meetings, planning sessions and annual team events

Growth & Sales Leadership
- Provide inputs for establishing annual revenue and expense projections and growth targets
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and adjust strategy as necessary
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership teams and functions
- Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support and programs
- Collaborate with cross-LOB teams to drive greater penetration in the marketplace for Lifeworks Learning
- Lead deal negotiations, proposal/statement of work development, closure of sales activities and other efforts impacting the sales process.
- Responsible for custom pricing for various services/requests as needed
- Maintain client relationships and industry connections to make sure our offering is relevant and meets client requirements
