Financial Analyst, Continuous Improvement

BRP’s accounting and financial reporting teams located around the world report to the Corporate Controller, who is supported in his mission by a continuous improvement team. The mandate of this team is to drive agility, efficiencies, and standardization, lift the strength of the teams globally, and contribute to the success of the transformation program within Finance at BRP.
You will report directly to the Finance Manager, Continuous Improvement, and be located in Montréal, Canada.
**YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:
Identify improvement and cost reduction opportunities and seek to learn and document underlying and existing business processes.
Facilitate, lead, and execute continuous improvement projects.
Select, motivate, and empower other members of the finance team to work with you on continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in establishing methods and coordinating implementation of new processes and technology throughout the Finance department.
Constantly drive process improvement by leveraging out-of-the-box thinking and exploring creative avenues.
Stay current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies that can support process improvement.
Develop process maps and other documents to illustrate current and future states of processes.
Keep track of work and provide periodic updates on task progress.
Other activities as required by the dynamic and evolving nature of the role and developments in the finance transformation journey.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
A Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Business Process Professional (CBPP®) or Certified Business Leader (CBPL) Qualification is preferred.
Proven continuous improvement analytical experience from a similar role, including project management and business analysis.
5+ years of experience in high-growth and industry-leading companies.
Previous experience in process engineering will be highly regarded.
In-depth understanding of change concepts.
Experience with SAP is highly valued.
