**IT Release Manager / IT Delivery Manager**

**Description**:
The role of the Release Manager is **critical to the planning and execution of the Release Management processes and governance in support of our clients Centers of Excellence.**

The Release Manager’s main role will be to **plan, manage and coordinate all changes to the environments by Releases, covering initially major ERP platforms and the PIM platforms**, their interfaces and environments. He will be responsible for the successful completion of all of the release **management-related activities, including release preparation and implementation.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the **‘Gatekeeper’ to the Production environment** of the ERP and the Product Information Management (PIM) solution, ensuring platforms’ ongoing stability and integrity.
- Manage non-production environments to **ensure needs for development, testing and pre-production environments** are aligned with projects’ needs and timelines
- **Lead and facilitate the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings** providing clear and relevant input to efficient release-related decisions
- Clearly communicate the CAB members’ roles and responsibilities. Document and communicate CAB meeting’s agenda and decisions after the meeting.
- Work with **ERP** CoE leads, the PIM solution product owner in preparing for release roadmaps ensuring every release contains the correct features
- Define, maintain and communicate the detailed plan for each release
- Coordinate **end-to-end deliveries of approved releases from planning, configuration/execution, testing, communication and training**:

- Evaluate releases impacts and communicate to key stakeholders
- **Identify the risks **that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scheduled scope and quality of the release are not affected.
- Owner of Release Management gates signoffs and transport between environments as per defined processes
- Approve the release into pre-production and production environments.
- **Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy** the software successfully. Communicate final release contents to various stakeholders
- In the case of major releases, **collaboratively work with the Project Management and the Change Management teams **in achieving successful implementations and deliveries
- Continuously improve, evolve and adapt the Release Management Lifecycle to the organization’s culture and objectives

**Training and Experience**:

- **5 -10 PLUS years of experience as an IT Release / IT Delivery Manager**:

- Project Management
- SAP, Salesforce **OR** **equivalent systems of magnitude**:

- ITIL Foundation Certification or experience
