Logistics Manager

PiShop.ca is a growing e-commerce and electronics distribution business. We are based in Otatwa, Canada and work with supplier, vendors and customers all over the globe.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Shipping and Logistics Optimization**:
- Monitor, analyze, and improve shipping and logistics costs.
- Develop strategies to further optimize logistics processes and reduce expenses.
- **Contract Management**:
- Review and negotiate courier contracts and rates with shipping providers.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure service reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- **Import and Export Operations**:
- Manage import and export tasks, addressing any issues to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure all shipments comply with international trade regulations and company policies.
- **Customs Compliance**:
- Monitor and manage customs rules, systems, and trade agreement-related processes, including CRAM, USMCA, and others.
- Stay updated on global trade regulations and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
- **Data Analysis and Reporting**:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare and present regular reports on shipping and logistics performance to senior management.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of import/export processes, customs compliance, and international trade agreements.
- Proven negotiation skills with a track record of securing cost-effective contracts.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and logistics management software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
