**Responsibilities**
- Learn about the lived experiences of African/Caribbean/Black (ACB) men, fathers, and families in the Greater Toronto Area through a concentrated, community-based research project
- Develop research questions pertaining to existing family services
- Listen to the community’s experience through a variety of avenues, including interviews, group discussions, and others
- Transcribe and properly store participant data
- Draw connections across stories and experiences collected and present findings
- Make phone calls, build relationships and recruit folks to participate in Community Conversations
- Keep a log and record your interactions with members of the community
- Attend partner and community meetings, and help by taking notes, preparing agendas, and participating in discussions
- Works in a collaborative manner and provides input to research and preparation of programs and events; collaborates with team to provide input to design, implementation and coordination of outreach strategy and plan
- Completes documentation for daily observations (where required) and weekly recruitment and participation reports for informal and formal evaluations for all ANKOBEA Fatherhood Initiative programs and events
- Participate in the setting of community engagement goals and measures and determining how to assess the quality and impact of ANKOBEA Fatherhood Initiative community engagement activities.
- Other duties as required.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $16.50 per hour
