Located at Lions Park of Port Coquitlam, our camps offer a unique outdoor experience for children aged 6 - 11 years old.

As a summer camp educator, you'll lead engaging activities, foster meaningful connections with campers, and create unforgettable memories in the great outdoors. Whether you're passionate about nature exploration, creative arts and crafts, or outdoor games and adventures, there's a place for you on our team.

**Temporary Position for July 2024**:
From 8:30 am to 4 pm from Monday through Friday starting July 2nd through 26th.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid First Aid Certificate is an asset
- Criminal Record Check required
- Please provide two references

**Experiences that will be considered**:

- Have experience working outdoors (not required but is an asset)
- Experience working with children in a group setting.
- Familiarity with a child-led approach to childcare is preferred.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate good communication skills with our children, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Assist in providing nature-based programming with an aim to provide an inclusive and developmentally age-appropriate program.
- Exhibits good judgment, critical thinking and creative problem-solving
- Work collaboratively within the team to maintain proper supervision of children.
- Assist, contribute and at times lead daily programing.
- Engage with families to create a welcoming and positive relationship with families
- Be in good health and physically capable of handling such tasks as walking, bending, kneeling, lifting about 30 lbs., and running short distances.
- Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather.

**Compensation**:
$18 to $22 per hour depending on experience.
