From 8:30 am to 4 pm from Monday through Friday starting July 2nd through 26th.  

Qualifications:  
  • Valid First Aid Certificate is an asset
  • Criminal Record Check required
  • Please provide two references 

Experiences that will be considered:
  • Have experience working outdoors (not required but is an asset)
  • Experience working with children in a group setting.  
  • Familiarity with a child-led approach to childcare is preferred.  

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate good communication skills with our children, parents, and fellow staff members.  
  • Assist in providing nature-based programming with an aim to provide an inclusive and developmentally age-appropriate program.  
  • Exhibits good judgment, critical thinking and creative problem-solving 
  • Work collaboratively within the team to maintain proper supervision of children.
  • Assist, contribute and at times lead daily programing. 
  • Engage with families to create a welcoming and positive relationship with families
  • Be in good health and physically capable of handling such tasks as walking, bending, kneeling, lifting about 30 lbs., and running short distances. 
  • Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather.

Compensation:
$18 to $22 per hour depending on experience.
