**About the Position**:
**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Participates as a member of the team and provides support to other team members under the direction of the General Manager
- Oversees, hires and schedules the Resident Concierge team
- Sets up and maintain all Resident Folders and assists the General Manager with onboarding of all new residents
- Handles all queries concerning billings and payments from residents and/or their family members
- Effectively communicates and interacts with residents, family members, visitors and volunteers in a courteous and professional manner
- Assists with the Accounts Receivable Process, including the processing and posting of bank deposits, processing rent increase letters, communicating credit memos and monthly billing changes to the Accounting department
- Completes movement forms and updates, along with adding all new admission information and adjustments into the accounting software, Yardi
- Provides ADP payroll support to the Managers as needed
- Orders office supplies and manages the petty cash
- Act as a Manager on Duty (MOD) on occasional weekends (as required)
- Assists the General Manager in onboarding all employees while collecting and collating all required employee records and documentation
- Assists employees with a range of HR queries including payroll, benefits, time off requests etc.
- Ensure that all employees complete yearly ORCA training and that the home is compliant with all the necessary regulations

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Previous experience in a retirement or health care environment considered an asset
- Ability to interact with all levels of staff, residents and their family members, and other professionals with a high degree of patience and tolerance
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Initiative, good judgment and supervisory abilities
- Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office with a working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Empathy for and understanding of the needs of the seniors, and passion for working with seniors each and every day
