**Title**: Manager, Community Development
**Salary**: $94,623 - $111,321 - $128,020 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 37.5 Hours, Monday - Friday (core hours 9am - 3pm)
**Location**: Coast Salish Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations-Park Royal, West Vancouver
- Hybrid (Minimum 50% in office).
Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after November 2024.

**About the role**
As the Manager in Community Development, your main responsibilities include:
- Manage the Community Development Team, including workload management, planning and reporting (corporate) and all aspects of Human Resources.
- Provide strategic oversight in partnering with BC First Nations and organizations to develop, monitor and evaluate Community Health and Wellness Plans
- Partner with Finance in supporting BC First Nations to transition program delivery from delegated Health Service Organizations to community based health and program services delivery
- Support Health Service Organizations develop tools and resources to support planning, reporting, evaluation and program delivery.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have
- A University Degree in public health administration, planning or a related discipline plus eight years of related experience, including that in a leadership role, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Advising First Nations communities in managing sensitive and complex issues, including funding, planning, monitoring, reporting, and risk management;
- Guiding First Nations through the community health planning process;
- Leading teams in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment;

We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
