Project/progress Billing Administrator

We are currently seeking an **Project/Progress Billing Administrator **to join the team in our **Richmond Hill **location. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for performing full cycle project billing functions including project administration and invoicing.
**This is an office based role and does not have the option to Work from Home.**
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Receive award sheet from sales team and input the project set up and job budget set up into LP Systems and Navision
- Reviews and maintain job list to identify which jobs need to be billed
- Resolve issues with invoices in a professional, polite manner
- Responsible for job close out process and report
- Prepare and send contract change orders
- Maintain all records and files in accordance with records retention standards
- Act as backup to payroll clerk and other team members
- Other duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or related discipline
- At least 2 years’ of strong and progressive work experience in an accounting function within the Construction Industry, preferably in a fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and ability to function as part of a team
- Bilingual in French is considered an asset.
- Sound computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience with LP systems and Microsoft Navision would be an asset
- Demonstrates good judgment and discretion in handling confidential information
- Strong organizational skills with focus on accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines all the while being detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and complete work with a high degree of accuracy, judgment and integrity
