**Job Title: Physiotherapy Receptionist - Dynamic & Growing Clinic**

We are looking for a highly organized and compassionate Physiotherapy Receptionist to be the face of our clinic and contribute to our team's success.
**Job Summary**:
As our Physiotherapy Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional patient experiences. You will be the first point of contact, managing patient flow, scheduling, and administrative tasks with efficiency and a caring demeanor.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Patient Management**:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors, both in person and via phone, providing prompt and professional assistance.
- Efficiently manage incoming physiotherapy referrals and schedule appointments using our EMR system, Jane.
- Accurately check in patients for physiotherapy and medical appointments.
- Optimize patient satisfaction and provider time by ensuring timely check-ins and smooth patient flow.
- Maintain accurate patient accounts, updating personal and financial information.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and manage patient bookings.
- **Administrative Duties**:
- Liaise effectively with other receptionists and clinical staff.
- Maintain clean and organized treatment rooms between appointments.
- Handle billing for private health insurance claims, utilizing Telus Health and other insurance platforms.
- Manage and maintain office equipment, including computers, fax machines, and copiers.
- Perform general administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- **Communication & Collaboration**:
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, medical staff, and insurance companies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with empathy.
- Work well within a team environment.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- **Experience**:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physiotherapy Receptionist in a clinical setting.
- Proficient in billing procedures using Telus Health and other insurance platforms.
- Expertise in using EMR systems, specifically Jane.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
- Clinical knowledge and familiarity with medical terminology.
- Proficient in computer skills and office technology.
- Compassionate and patient-focused demeanor.
- **Education**:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
**Job Details**:
- **Hours**: 20-25 hours per week, with potential for full-time employment.
- **Schedule**: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM, and vacation and sick coverage.
- **Location**: Hamilton, ON (In-person)
- **Start Date: March 17 2025**
- **Job Type**: Part-time, Permanent
- **Pay**: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
- **Benefits**: Vacation and paid time off.
