Maple Creek, Canada Bayshore HealthCare Ltd. Full time
Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a part-time Physiotherapist to work alongside our federal client near Maple Creek, Saskatchewan.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

- Master's Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University.
- Current license in good standing with the Saskatchewan Physiotherapy Association.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in providing primary care as a Physiotherapist in the last five (5) years.
- All experience must be strictly work-related.
- Experience must be demonstrated through a history of past projects, either completed or on-going.

Tasks:

- Provide and actively participate in the coordination of essential health care services as a Registered Physiotherapist.
- Provide physiotherapy health services in accordance with the National Essential Health Services Framework. These services include but are not limited to the following:

1. Physical health assessment;

2. Consultation;

3. Treatment;

4. Appropriate referrals;

- Assess the patients, commence treatment, and evaluate the efficacy of the treatment given.
- Provide the Physician with a description of the assessment, commencement of treatment, and the evaluation of the efficacy of the treatment given.
- In-services to staff when requested by the Manager of Health Services to promote safe and effective body mechanics while performing lifts and moving patients.
- Be able to work as a member of the professional Health Services team for the delivery of services.
- Enter patients' treatment reports and recommendations into a Medical Record system.
- Prepare physiotherapy clinic lists and appointment schedules triaged based on consults received and emergencies as they arise.
