**What does a day in the life as a Medical Collection Specialist look like?**:
- Initiates outreach to law firms regarding outstanding medical liens to ensure prompt and timely payment
- Communicates with medical providers, attorneys, and plaintiffs to obtain case statuses and verify billing statements have been received.
- Monitors monthly collections and ensures compliance with servicing requirements.
- Diligently inputs and tracks update within client’s account management system as lien processing work is completed
- Closely follow process workflows and support in implementing initiatives and projects as directed by leadership.
- Provide excellent & considerate customer service regarding collection issues, process and review lien reductions within set parameters, resolve billing discrepancies
**What are the required qualifications for a Medical Collection Specialist?**:
- Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree; undergraduate with a minimum 3 years of experience as a Customer Service Representative in a BPO environment
- ** With basic knowledge of HIPPA**:
- ** Willing to onsite at The Foundry, BGC, Taguig for two weeks training then once a month after.**:
- Proficient in using Google Suite tools such as GMail, Docs, and Sheets
- Schedule flexibility, 9AM - 6PM EST
- Tech Savvy, ability to learn and master new customer system
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- An individual who has an innate curiosity and shows initiative to learn continuously
- Has a team player mindset with innovative ideas that will inspire customer adoption
- Strong attention to detail and ability to relate to different customers
**Preferred Qualification/s**:
- Educational background in Finance is preferred but not a requirement
- Familiar with DialPad
