What We're Looking For
We’re on the lookout for a creative, hands-on **Content & Production Specialist** who’s ready to take our podcast and social media to the next level. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll be in charge of executing the full podcast production process, crafting engaging content, and making sure our brand voice shines across all social platforms. Whether you’re coordinating guests, creating social posts, or repurposing podcast episodes into must-see content, you’ll be bringing our ideas to life.
This **hybrid role** is perfect for someone who loves producing high-quality content and using their creativity to connect with audiences in meaningful ways along their health and wellness journey.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Podcast Development and Management**
- Develop and produce a weekly podcast series that features interviews, discussions, and expert insights on topics related to health, wellness, and nutrition.
- Develop and implement a strategic podcast content calendar, staying on top of key health and wellness trends.
- Identify, invite, and schedule relevant guests, including health experts, nutritionists, and wellness influencers.
- Draft episode outlines, scripts, and interview questions that align with the podcast's theme and brand voice.
- Handle all aspects of podcast production, including recording, editing, and mixing audio to ensure high-quality output.
- Manage the distribution of the podcast across platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other relevant channels.
- Help design and build our _*dream*_ podcast studio.
**2. Content Strategy, Creation and Distribution**
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with brand objectives and audience interests.
- Assist in the production of Instagram live sessions, stories, and reels, including setting up, filming, and editing.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with marketing initiatives and the podcast calendar.
**3. Brand Alignment and Consistency**
- Ensure all content produced is on-brand, maintaining a consistent visual and thematic style that resonates with Magic Scoop’s target audience.
- Stay updated on industry trends and standards to consistently refine and enhance Magic Scoop’s content strategy.
**4. Analytics and Reporting**
- Track and analyze the performance of content across platforms, using insights to inform future content production.
- Provide regular reports to the Social Media Manager on podcast performance, including listener growth, engagement metrics, and feedback.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in content management, podcast production, or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to manage and execute content strategies.
- Familiarity with podcasting tools and software.
- Proficient in audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition), video editing tools (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere), and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
- Experience in graphic design and/or video editing skills.
- Strong storytelling and creative abilities, with an eye for detail and a passion for producing engaging, high-quality content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engaging social media captions.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- A deep understanding of health, wellness, and nutrition trends, with the ability to translate this knowledge into engaging content.
- Portfolio showcasing previous podcast production, social media content, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work flexible hours, as needed, to cover live events or time-sensitive projects.
