At our Head Office based in downtown Vancouver BC, the Content and Community Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engaging with target audiences, and driving business objectives. You will be responsible for executing and optimizing social media platforms, creating compelling content, monitoring, and analyzing performance, and interacting with online communities. Your goal is to build a strong online presence, foster brand loyalty, and drive audience growth through effective social media channels.

Let’s get into the detail. This role will:
Social Media Marketing: Targets: 4% engagement rate, 30% target growth rate followers and impressions (YOY).
- Execute social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives.
- Identify target audiences, platforms, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide social media campaigns.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to incorporate innovative strategies.
- Confident to grow a brand's presence on Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other potential social media platforms aligned with the organization's objectives.

Content Creation:

- Create engaging and high-quality content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and graphics (working with the design team where necessary).
- Check in with the content manager to ensure that adequate coverage of education awareness, campaign awareness, new product launches, and monthly promo-focused posts are done monthly.
- Maintain and build on key series on social: #YAWL, Best supplements for, etc.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and design, to ensure brand consistency and messaging.
- Plan, schedule and publish content using social media tools.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from users, maintaining a positive brand image.
- Creating stories regularly to drive engagement, clicks to the website, sharing blogs and promos, as well as pertinent company updates (i.e. media appearances).
- Update and maintain the highlights on Instagram.
- Work with your manager to understand the business needs and work cross-functionally with key stakeholders required for the social content calendar (ie, influencers, events, retail promotions).

Community Engagement:

- Proactively engage with online communities, influencers, and followers to foster meaningful relationships.
- Monitor discussions, trends, and user-generated content related to the brand and industry. Share weekly updates in the marketing channel - _what is trending._
- Participate in relevant conversations, answer questions, and provide helpful information.
- Identify and leverage user-generated content for brand promotion and advocacy. Building engagement on all platforms Organika is active on

Performance Tracking and Analysis:

- Monitor social media analytics and track key metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Present a monthly report to key stakeholders (learnings, targets, next month's plans)
- Analyze data and generate reports to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Make data-driven recommendations to optimize social media strategies and achieve KPIs.
- Stay informed about social media platform algorithms and adjust tactics to maximize reach and engagement.
