Job Overview:
Purchasing Coordinator functions:
- Creating and following up on Purchase Orders
- Verifying nomenclature for the correct vendor, price, G/L account, and cost center.
- Communicating orders to vendors
- Updating delivery schedules when needed
- Utilizing the SAP system
- Running reports to identify late deliveries and then following up with suppliers to resolve any delivery issues.
- Assisting Accounts Payable for investigating blocked invoices, receiving issues and pricing discrepancies
- Creating and/or maintaining Info Record and Source List
- Creating custom paperwork/invoices for shipments globally.
- Creating Labels for incoming raw materials and batches from process orders.
CSR Function:
- Preparing orders for billing and related functions
- Receiving, investigating, and responding to customer concerns about products, services, or billing
- Performing consignment inventory and billing functions
- Preparing reports for management and customers
- Providing administrative support to mini plant accounts by entering data associated with inventory capture movement and relief, either stock or customer-filled
- Performing searches for internal and external procurement of materials, both raw and finished goods; maintaining all related mini plant data in SAP
- Coding invoices/payables
