**Project Coordinator**

Strata Engineering Absolute Building Science is a full-service engineering firm specializing in the building science sector. Strata Engineering is currently hiring for a Project Coordinator in our Burnaby location. As a Project Coordinator, you will work directly with our team of Project Managers to provide support to our Technical team and to coordinate with our Clients for the successful execution of our projects. The duties of the job may change to suit your individual skills and interests, which is highly encouraged in our team.

**Core responsibilities of this role include**:

- Communications to determine client’s needs and the ability to scope projects to fit needs.
- Support the engineering/technical teams in defining project requirements and potential risks, and in the coordination of client communication.
- Prepare and manage construction documentation such as contracts, change documents, site instructions, and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate tender processes, including the compilation of tender packages, assistance with bid review and budget projections.
- Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Coordinate scheduling of inspections and site visits between clients and the team, ensuring necessary resources are available on time.
- Monitoring and maintenance of administrative procedures, including records management, project open/closeouts, quotes and proposals, deliverables, and similar.
- Functional administration of our PM/CRM system.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or other formal education with a focus on business administration/communication or construction management. Background in architecture, engineering, building science, or construction is considered an asset.
- 2+ years experience as an administrator or coordinator in an engineering/construction environment
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Acrobat
- Organized and competent in prioritization of work
- Native/Professional English language proficiency, fluent in verbal communications
- Second language proficiency is a plus
- Eye for detail and passion for quality
- Experience in engineering or building science technical knowledge is an asset
- Experience in communicating and managing stakeholder expectations
- Proficiency in client presentation
- Eligibility for employment within Canada
