**Role Profile**

With dual reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and the Human Resources Business Partner, the **People & Culture Assistant** will support a variety of projects within the People & Culture department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Recruitment - resume screening, reference checking, interview support
- Special projects - support various P&C initiatives such as onboarding and recognition
- General research, including scanning for legislative changes and best practices on a variety of topics
- Support areas such as health, safety & wellness, labour relations, diversity, equity & inclusion
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or college degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or related program
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
- Attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to work in a team or independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

**Salary: $18.00 per hour**
