**Essential Skills/Requirements**:

- Post-secondary degree, ideally in a scientific discipline
- Relevant work experience, preferably in sales or in a laboratory position
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to self-motivate and thrive independently
- Outstanding team player, comfortable brainstorming and sharing ideas
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Embraces learning, especially new skills
- Able to demonstrate strategic and creative approaches to solving customer challenges

- Bilingual English/French is an asset

**Main Duties**:

- Expand Delta Scientific’s relationship with customers in Canada and the U.S.
- Drive profitable growth across assigned account base
- Perform customer needs analyses and identify solutions to fulfill those needs
- Actively identify and close share-of-wallet and business development opportunities
- Participate in sales related projects including special promotions and campaigns
- Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect information in sales database
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals
- Identify relevant market and customer trends
- Share marketplace information with sales management regarding existing customer accounts, new business opportunities and competitors’ activities
- Occasional travel to existing and potential customers
- Attend sales training events
- Other duties may be assigned as required to support overall sales efforts
