**TITLE: Billing Clerk**
**REPORTS TO**:Account Managers, General Manager and Accountant
**RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL**:
Under general supervision, responsible for driving maximum productivity and profitability for an average of 500 - 550 invoices per month. Partner effectively with Account Managers, Accounts Payable, Service Coordinators and Technicians to ensure invoices are completed in a reasonable timeframe and to the customer’s expectations. Analyze and assesses team performance and adjust as needed to ensure customer satisfaction in a cost-effective manner.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES**:
1. Invoice completed work orders in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Verify labor hours, service parts, inventory parts, Client Purchase Order # (if applicable).
- Revise Description of Work, if appropriate.
- Add/ verify any extra billing charges for equipment/overhead as necessary.
2. Coordinate with Account Managers, Accounts Payable, and Technicians on any questions or inconsistencies with work orders. Address any labor corrections with Technicians and Payroll.
3. Request customer Purchase Order #’s on a weekly basis.
4. Manage/update/correct filter lists and equipment lists on existing preventive maintenance agreements.
5. Assist with the preventative maintenance contract renewal process. Enter renewed and new Client contract information into Sampro system.
6. Assist with new customer billing setup for service and preventative maintenance contracts.
**SECONDARY DUTIES**:
1. Answer main phone and transfer as needed.
3. Issue Purchase Order #’s for Account Managers and Technicians.
4. Assist Accounts Payable and Service Coordinators when caught up on invoicing duties.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Understanding of basic accounting math.
3. Strong attention to detail to keep accurate accounting entries.
4. Familiar with accounting software, such as Sampro.
5. Solid organizational skills to keep track of invoices.
6. Great customer service skills to work with various clients.
7. Knowledge of data entry for record keeping.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
