Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

**B. **Job Summary**

Provide high quality customer service through retail, phone, and on-line inquiries while maintaining sound operational practices with inventory, fellow representatives, and work area cleanliness.

**C. **Essential Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Including but not limited to.

2) Source, supply, and record the requested parts by the customer.

3) Gather pricing of parts and create requested quotations.

4) Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

5) Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

6) Analyze and building strategies around inventory and sales techniques.

7) Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

8) Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

9) Maintains area cleanliness on a regular basis.

10) Provides knowledge and technical support to all employees and customers maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

**D. **Education and Experience**
- A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.

1) 2 years of experience within the Fluid Power industry.

**E. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

1) Effective oral and written communication.

2) Professional demeanour, selling style, and appearance.

3) Standard knowledge in hydraulic fundamentals.

4) Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite (Ex. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

5) Negotiation skills.

6) Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.

7) Good organizational skills.

**F. **Certificate, Licenses, and/or Registrations**

Valid Class 5 Drivers License.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
