As a key member of our Business Systems department, the data analyst is responsible for supporting the continuous improvement of reports, data quality and bridging the gap between data and decision-making. This includes analyzing data, developing reports and dynamic dashboards, and working closely with different teams to support business decisions with actionable data insights.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Lead the development of insightful reports and dynamic dashboards, tailored to meet business needs, using Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
- Continuously seek opportunities to refine and improve the efficiency of existing reporting processes, enhancing the quality and accessibility of data insights. Ensure reports are accessible and understandable to non-technical team members.
- Guarantee the validity and accuracy of critical data extracts, implementing checks and balances to maintain data integrity.
- Participate actively in project teams, bringing data-driven insights to support project objectives and outcomes.
- Work closely with business units to extract insights from complex datasets, leading to in-depth analysis and conclusions drawn by the business areas.
- Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends and patterns.
- Work closely with different departments to support their data analysis needs. Understand departmental goals and objectives to ensure the data analysis and reporting are relevant and impactful.
- Support the automation of business processes and data transformation using Power Automate and Python.
- Special projects as required.
- Maintains a repository of all active reports and instruction documentation.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Post-secondary education in a related discipline and/or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of Oracle Data Table Structure/SQL and Power BI
- Technology savvy with strong query, data and reporting skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, effectively prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
