**About the job.**

The Pastry Cook will play a vital role in creating exceptional pastry items that consistently delight our guests and leave them eager to return. This position involves collaborating closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to maintain and elevate quality standards, as well as actively participating in the development of new and innovative pastry creations.

**What you'll be doing.**
- Prepare high-quality pastry items, following established recipes and techniques, while ensuring consistency in taste and presentation
- Assist in the creation and development of new pastry items, bringing creative ideas and innovation
- Maintain a clean and organized pastry station, ensuring adherence to sanitation and food safety guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Work collaboratively with other members of the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and exceptional guest experiences
- Stay current with industry trends, new ingredients, and innovative pastry techniques

**About you.**
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in a culinary setting
- Solid understanding of pastry techniques, ingredients, and presentation
- A sense of self-leadership, and a feeling of being accountable for your work
- Strong attention to detail to catch, what otherwise might be overlooked
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Strong time management skills and confidence in their own skills and resourcefulness
- A willingness to share your unique strengths with the team and bring diversity to the team
- An open-mind and are willing to learning new skills and take on new responsibilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards
- Available to work evenings starting at 3pm with weekend availability preferred
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
