**About This Opportunity**:
Coke Canada Bottling Sales Development Manager’s (SDM) are field sales representatives responsible for identifying and selling against opportunities within Coke Canada Bottling’s local and national small store customers, which includes Gas, Convenience, Restaurants & Bars, Food Service on premise, special events including Canadian National Exhibition and Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and Wholesale customers. The SDM is required to maximize profitable sales opportunities by thoroughly understanding the complexity of the channels and building relationships with customers.
The SDM is also responsible for prospecting for new business and growing the business within their designated territory.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan, collaborate and execute all requirements including promotional activity, pricing, and equipment activation for special events including Canadian National Exhibition, Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, Honda Indy and FIFA World Cup 2026
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Account Executives, Distribution Supervisors and Manager of Customer Marketing for streamlined execution
- Successfully sell customer promotional plans, incremental displays and equipment placements that include annual Customer Marketing Agreements and align with the customer's and the Coke Canada Bottling system’s business objectives and strategies
- Prospect for new business within assigned territory
- Evaluate outlet opportunities for new and existing small store customers
- Develop a customized business plan addressing the critical needs of the customer(s)
- Proactively arrange time and territory to achieve optimum face-to-face selling opportunities
- Manage orders and inventory to ensure that revenue and profit goals are achieved and merchandising standards are maintained at each store
- Ensures a high level of customer service and resolves issues promptly
- Be able to lift, carry and position product (weight up to 30lbs) above shoulder height without assistance
**Qualifications**:
- Must be 18 years of age and legally eligible to work
- Post-Secondary education, preferably in business related field or sufficient business experience in a similar role
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales role preferable in consumer goods industry
- Experience in direct store delivery sales and major account management an asset
- Customer service oriented with the ability to handle multiple customer accounts
- Strong analytical, organizational, planning, verbal and written communications skills are a must
- Proficient using a variety of computer programs
- Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours
- Must have current vehicle liability insurance
- Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
