**Job Description - Administrative Assistant**

**About Us**:
Progressive Property Management Ltd. is a locally owned and operated professional property management firm that has provided property management services in Saskatoon and area since 2002. Currently servicing Saskatoon, Outlook, and Christopher Lake communities, we operate primarily from our head office in Saskatoon. The company is responsible for a property portfolio consisting of various residential and commercial investment real estate, and condominium projects.

**Responsibilities**:
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for various office duties relating to the leasing of residential homes, consisting of apartment suites and single-family homes. The portfolio of properties will be located in Saskatoon and area as assigned by the Office Manager.

The administrative assistant’s primary responsibilities will be to complete office and administrative duties needed for any residential apartment units and single-family houses. This will include:

- Answering questions and scheduling viewings of any vacant suites
- Advertising vacant units
- Scheduling showings _(both in person and virtual)._
- Reporting of any maintenance and cleaning needed to the Operations Manager, and dispatching vendors as required
- Keeping a report of appointments and completed viewings
- Tenant relations with new tenants, complete lease agreeements and other documents
- Prepare bank deposits
- Data entry for payables and receivables, and processing of payments monthly
- Schedule of periodic building and suite inspections with the head office team
- Schedule Routine smoke detector checks with the head office team
- Completion of move in/move out inspections as coordinated with the Operations Manager and Head Office team.

**Skills & Experience**:

- This position requires a minimum of two years customer service experience.
- Experience working in an office setting, in property management or with the ORT portal system are an asset but not required.
- Must be organized and able to work both independently and with a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on deadlines provided by Operations Manager and Office Manager
- Must have good communication skills
- Recent criminal record check is required
