**Enterprise Business Development Manager**
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the solar energy industry.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and decision-makers in target organizations.
- Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain up-to-date information in the CRM system.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities and challenges to inform business development strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, building brand awareness and cultivating new business opportunities.
- Train, mentor, and develop sales team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing sales culture.
- Assist in managing the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Create, customize and maintain corporate presentations for business development.
- Have an oversight of website, social media updates to ensure product accuracy is maintained.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field; master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 13 years of experience in customer success, sales, operations, and engineering within the solar energy or renewable energy sector.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the solar energy market, including industry trends, technologies, and key players.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with clients at all levels, including CXO’s.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiating high value contracts.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong PowerPoint skills for corporate sales deck creation and maintenance
- Strong excel skills including pivots, vlookups for sales analy
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
