Business Development Coordinator

**General responsibilities**:
**Outreach**
- Execute outreach strategies, proactively target potential clients and business partners to grow the company’s client base and enhance brand presence
- Develop outreach materials and presentations that effectively communicate the company’s value proposition
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing department to align outreach initiatives with company goals
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends
- Engage in various prospecting methods, including cold calling, face-to-face meetings and networking events
- Continuously assess and compile data on the effectiveness of outreach initiatives, providing regular reports to the Business Development Director
- Prepare company presentations for the Business Development Team
- Cultivate strong relationships with third-party and partner companies that may be essential to the delivery of full solutions to our clients
- Coordinate and actively participate in industry events, networking meetings, webinars and forums to promote the company’s products and services
- Maintain a high level of relevant industry knowledge to engage in meaningful conversations with potential clients

**Reporting**
- Report on outreach activities during weekly Biz Dev meetings
- Accurately record all outreach activities in the company’s CRM
- Complete project opportunity briefs and facilitate knowledge transfers to Account Managers

**Department coordination**
- Coordinate department meetings and keep meeting minutes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless information flow and activity coordination
- Provide support to Account Managers for client presentation preparation
- Assist Account Managers with internal administrative tasks, such as project opening process follow-up and preparing internal project onboarding meetings

**Other considerations**:

- Hybrid role
- Occasional travel required

**Qualifications and skills required**:

- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- At least 2 years’ hands-on experience in sales, marketing, or a related field
- Result-oriented with a focus on generating business growth
- Proficiency in CRM software and market analysis tools
- Strong working knowledge of client presentation software (Google Slides, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace and Slack (an asset)
- Solid understanding of Float4’s industry (current trends, key players, relevant issues, industry-specific vocabulary)

**Skills desired**:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A natural aptitude for building and nurturing relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Ability to comprehend and articulate industry-specific concepts using the appropriate terminology
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills and good time management, ability to manage multiple outreach activities concurrently
- Proactive, resourceful and autonomous
- Rigor, consistency and diplomacy
- Languages: fluent in both French and English (bilingualism required for this position)
