**Terms**:Temporary Contract, Full-Time

**Hours of Work**: 35 hours per week

**Start Date**:As soon as possible

**End Date**:Estimated August 2023 (22 weeks contract)

**Salary**: $55,546.00 per year (pro-rated for length of contract)

**Reports to**: Manager, Employment Programs

**Nature and Scope**:
Project Coordinator will oversee all aspects of project delivery including the coordination of the project with employers, community stakeholders, PICS and WorkBC Service Providers to support the participants; carrying out the agreed activities, budget management of the project, coordinating staffing; maintaining statistics and reports; and ensuring effective communication with the Ministry.

This position will provide support for the entire project including critical coordination and communication between project partners and stakeholders, participant support functions and budgetary duties.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Lead the coordination of the Project Based Labour Market Training program with stakeholders, including employers, community partners, subcontractors, and WorkBC Service Providers.
- Oversee the delivery of agreed activities and ensure they are completed within budget constraints.
- Manage staffing needs, including coordinating the schedules of team members and ensuring adequate resources are available to complete project tasks.
- Maintain project statistics and reports, and communicate project progress to the Ministry.
- Ensure effective communication between project partners and stakeholders.
- Provide support to participants, including addressing their needs and ensuring they receive adequate training and resources.
- Manage project budgets, including monitoring expenses and ensuring they remain within approved limits

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as project management, business administration, or human resources, or a combination of education and relevant work experience
- At least 1 year of experience in project coordination and management
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with a variety of stakeholders, including employers, community partners, subcontractors, and government agencies
- Ability to manage budgets and maintain project statistics and reports
- Experience and sensitivity in dealing with members of different cultural and racial backgrounds, including visible and invisible dimensions of diversity
- Emergency First Aid/CPR-C Certificate required, can be obtained within 30 days of start date
