- Understand Safety management systems, policies, rules, and guidelines, including the Occupational Health and SafetyAct and related regulations

- Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated shift
- Ensure security of facilities during designated shift hours
- Enforce all safety and processing procedures
- Develop Team Members through coaching and mentoring
- Promote accountability by providing formal and informal performance feedback to Team Members, including performance appraisals.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and support groups
- Effective communications between management and operators.
- Participate in manpower planning and recruiting
- Promote continuous improvement and takes advantage of cost reduction opportunities
- Conduct accident / incident investigations implementing corrective actions
- Required to stand for entire duration of shift
- Must be able to carry, lift, push or pull up to 75 lbs intermittently throughout the shift
- Familiar with Occupational Health and Safety Act, knowledge of WHMIS and Job Safety Analysis preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of creating and implementing Work Instructions & Procedures
- A detail oriented individual with strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Business Suite

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$78,000.00 per year
