As a Jr Portfolio & Resourcing Analyst summer student, you are not just a cog in the machine but the very gear that keeps the project machinery running smoothly, ensuring compliance with company standards and propelling the organization towards its strategic goals. You possess a natural inclination towards data analysis and critical thinking and you are able to transform complex datasets into strategic insights. You have exceptional organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail that ensures no aspect of a project is overlooked. You are capable of navigating the dynamic nature of project management and adjusting strategies as needed to meet evolving project demands. Not just identifying issues but actively seeking out solutions and improvements to enhance project outcomes.
A typical day for the Jr Portfolio & Resourcing Analyst
- Project Documentation Management:
- Update and manage PMO and Project SharePoint sites.
- Maintain and organize project artifact templates to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Audit and Compliance Reporting:
- Assist in PMO Audit and Compliance reporting by collecting relevant data and ensuring adherence to standards.
- Portfolio Reporting:
- Collaborate on PMO portfolio reporting using Power BI or other reporting tools.
- Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Project Center Administration:
- Support the Project Center by:
- Adding resources to projects.
- Updating project plans.
- Troubleshooting project-related issues.

**Qualifications**:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in project management or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions based on data.
- Understanding of PMO software tools such as MS Project Online.
- Excellent program coordination and administration abilities.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
**Required Skills**:

- Communication: Effective communication with project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Technical Literacy: Familiarity with project management tools and software.
