**Position Overview**

As a Project Manager, your primary responsibility is to plan, schedule, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Plan, schedule, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.
- Oversee the Project Coordinator and project administration, including cost control, schedule control and change order administration
- Oversee the Site Superintendent and Foreman who are accountable for all field operations required to construct the project
- Manage the construction project budget ensuring profitability wherever opportunity exists
- Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress against established schedules ensuring compliance with contractual milestones.
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Abide by and promote the company QA/QC program and ensure project specific quality control requirements are met
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients and project metrics to VP Commercial
- Engage and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff and provide continuous subcontractor feedback to estimating.
- Promote productivity innovation and improvement.
- Abide by and promote HSE policies and procedures while managing and coordinating site specific safety plan(s).
- Mitigate risk by knowing and communicating project and contractual requirements to all stakeholders, while managing and enforcing contractual responsibilities and resolve disputes in the company’s best interest.
- Develop, manage, and enforce project delivery plans.
- Seek out and develop new project opportunities in alignment with company goals, coordinating with marketing and business development leadership.
- Supervise, coach, mentor, and train project staff to the extent possible along their training plans
- Attend, promote and participate as an ambassador of the company for all internal and external events.

**Required Experience and Education**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent and minimum five years of proven experience as a Project Manager on hard bid or negotiated projects valued at $1 million and over.
- Must possess demonstrated leadership ability in managing staff and project efforts and embody a progressive and innovative attitude toward construction technologies, and a thorough understanding of all project systems.
- Strong abilities to facilitate productive meetings between stakeholders
- Superior organizational ability and strong process orientation
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor Site Superintendent and Foreman

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
