**Main Duties**
- Enter all Hiring data and termination date into HRMS System and update as needed
- Schedule and coordinate new employee Orientation and onboarding in English and Spanish.
- Maintain and update Health & Safety training binders and electronic logs
- Assign hooks for new general labour employees
- Update all HID tags, initial employee setups, and hiring packages
- Conduct reference checks and background checks
- Filing and Organizing paperwork
- Coordination with payroll department on employee information
- Assist in several HR programs including monthly Mister Safety Shoe Visits, employee care package,etc.
- Coordinate and assist in set up English classes for Migrant workers
- Assist in LMIA process as required
- Conduct monthly housing inspection in coordination with Health & Safety department.
- Assist in creating employee verification letters
- Enroll and maintain the benefit administration for Canada.
- Help track absenteeism, and communicate reports to all required dept. heads
- Maintain employee records and upload all the information into HRMS.
- Coordinate and assist in all foreign worker appointments, entry and exit requirements.
- Renewing visas and work permit for Agricultural workers.
- Facilitate employee orientation and training as needed.
- Maintain all HRMS modules and ensure all data is always up to date.
- Assist with the company-wide committees including the wellness, training, environmental health and safety, activity, and culture and communications committees.
- Assist to establish departmental measurements that support the accomplishment of the company's strategic goals.
- Assist with the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.
- Protect organization's value by keeping confidential information
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating new or updated legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on required actions.
- Other duties assigned

**Qualifications & Experience**
- 0 - 1 year experience with a bachelor’s degree OR 1 - 2 years’ experience with a College Diploma OR 2+ years’ relative experience
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Fluent in Spanish is an asset
- Valid driver’s license
