As our needs grow, we are looking to increase the size of our family, and have an opening for a Office/Court Clerk. We are seeking an individual that not only want to be valued in the workplace, but also feel at home as part of a work family.

**Responsibilities**

**Administration and Document Support**
- Attend the Law Courts for filing of court documents, and sometimes other government offices
- Conduct requested online searches for a variety of areas including The Property Registry, City of Winnipeg Tax, Companies Office and Bankruptcy searches
- Close files and assign a number to each one and ensure files are boxed up for storage off site

**Clerical Support and Office Maintenance**
- Cover office reception including greeting visitors to the office lobby and answering calls
- Distribute incoming mail for the entire office; prepare the outgoing mail; and arrange for courier services
- Order office supplies
- Maintain office equipment(photocopier/dishwasher) and report any malfunctions
- Ensure the cleanliness of the lunchroom and meeting rooms
- Assist in photocopying and binding files when requested

**Education and Experience**
- Graduate of an Administrative Assistant program is preferred (equivalency will be considered)
- 1+ prior experience office experience in a reception and/or administrative support role
- Ability to accommodate shifting demands and priorities, must be flexible and adapt to change
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Pro Law software is an asset
- Some lifting will be required
