**Job Description**:

Job Responsibilities- Own and drive the company relationship with the assigned customer base- Utilize the Microchip Sales Process to create new engagements and drive the sales funnel to revenue- Maintain Microchip’s Sales Force based CRM tool, Compass- Identify, pre-qualify, manage and close on major projects and opportunities- Work effectively within a team environment to successfully develop and implement sales strategies- Communicate effectively with Microchip Product divisions- Be self-motivated and aspire to provide the customer with the highest level of support- Maintain up to date knowledge of their customer’s products, market, competitive landscape and internal organization- Consistently meet or exceed sales goal
Requirements/Qualifications:
Job Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in business or engineering discipline- Technical understanding of a market specific segment like process, energy, automation technology or similar- 0-3 years of experience working in a Sales or Marketing role- Able to work proficiently in both autonomous and team environments- Solid Business Acumen and curious by nature- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills- In depth Sales and Product Training will be provided- Must be able to travel locally in assigned territory

Pay Range:
We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. In addition to these components, our package includes health benefits that begin day one, retirement savings plans, and an industry leading IESPP program with a 6-month look back feature. The annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $115,000.*
- Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
