We are looking to hire a Customer Service Rep for our Contract Logistics division/office based in Edmonton.
** Your Role **:The Customer Service Representative is accountable for maintaining excellent service levels for our internal and external customers through accurate data entry, continuous process improvement and the prompt resolution of issues.
** Your Responsibilities**:

- Manage communication with clients, carrier brokers and other KN offices/facilities for customer service and administration requirements;
- Process all documentation associated with the movement of our clients’ inventory into and out of the facility according to client requirements, and in an accurate and timely manner;
- Receiving: ensure all documentation is verified and processed appropriately, in an accurate and efficient manner, while respecting all legal liability requirements;
- Order Processing: ensure all orders are processed in a timely manner and according to the clients’ specific requirements;
- Shipping: ensure all bills of lading are correct and confirmed into the appropriate system(s);
- Adjustments: ensure inventory integrity by processing authorized inventory adjustments;
- Document, investigate and resolve all customer concerns in a timely fashion;
- Drive prompt and professional communication at all times for both internal and external customers;
- Document all shipping errors on the required documentation with accuracy and attention to detail;
- Maintain all Working Instructions, ensure compliance with ISO Quality Management procedures and are update as required;
- Assist with dispatch planning / control office;
- Prepare client invoices;
- Provide POD’s to consignees and/or customer partners as required;
- Coordinate details for client KPI and internal performance reviews;
- Pursue continuous improvement initiatives to drive increased productivity and service levels;
- Comply with GMP requirements as applicable;
- Other duties as assigned.

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- 1-3 years’ experience in the contract logistics field.
- Operational, clerical and/or administrative experience relative to freight traffic.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written.
- Good planning and organization skills; ability to multitask and be a self-starter.
- Ability to maintain focus work on multiple projects and deadlines.
- Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) certificate is considered an asset; CIFFA I + II certificates is considered an asset.
- Advanced computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel).
- College diploma or University degree in business is preferred.
