**About us**

**Landy Marr Kats LLP**

We are seeking a litigation assistant with 1+ years of experience.

Experience working at law firms is preferred. As well, we require experience in using PC-Law & Primafact.

**You will be responsible for the following**:

- opening & closing files
- drafting accounts
- issuing & filing Statements of Claim and Statements of Defence
- compiling Affidavit of Documents
- paying invoices
- copying, scanning & filing
- scheduling events
- contacting clients about appointments
- contacting the Courts and Commercial Court
- working with mínimal supervision
- understanding the _Rules of Civil Procedure & _deadlines.

The law firm is located at Yonge and Sheppard in North York, (inside the Sheppard Centre) near the Sheppard Subway.
