**Description**:
Miller Waste Systems Inc. has been in operation since 1961. Miller is a leader in waste management and diversion, providing governments and industries with a wide range of services in the province of Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Manitoba. Miller has over 50 years’ experience in the waste management sector, and currently operates out of more than 30 locations. We are looking for a highly capable Talent Acquisition Specialist to be located out of one of our Miller Waste Divisions in Brampton Ontario.

Miller Waste Systems is looking for a seasoned Talent Acquisition Specialist with 4-5 years of experience recruiting and working in a Transportation, Manufacturing, or Industrial Sectors. The successful applicant will play an essential role in staffing Miller Waste’s operations, ensuring appropriate levels of human capital throughout the contract, as well ensure employee engagement and compliance to all external and internal policies and laws. A collaborative but strong nature is essential, and the applicant’s experience will allow them to manage people and enhance relationships within Miller Waste.

Recruiting and work experience in the Service Industry will not suitable for this position.

The successful applicant will be comfortable with prioritization, planning, coordination, and organization, with an ability to respond and adapt in changing, high pressure environments. This individual will be able to assess problem situations, recognize issues, and use judgment to create solutions that meet required standards.

Flexibility is also required as operational demand may require early starts, late finishes and, on rare occasions, weekend work.
