- Lead with Purpose: You’re at the helm, guiding the Receiving team, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks and taking charge of special projects.
- Be a Quality Ambassador: Immerse yourself and your team in our vision. Ensure exceptional service is provided at all corners, making sure our customers always leave with a smile.
- Master of Details: From product receiving, inspection, counting, to overseeing coding and processing, you ensure every piece is in its right place.
- Mentor & Guide: Supervise, train, and mentor your team, fostering an environment of growth, respect, and outstanding teamwork.
- Collaborate: Establish and strengthen relationships with vendors, department heads, and store leadership.
- Guardian of Safety: Ensure all equipment and areas are ship-shape and safe. From baler to compactor, you ensure it's all in top form.

**Skills You Bring to the Table**:

- A deep understanding of store receiving, accounting, and distribution.
- A knack for food handling and safety.
- An impressive ability to manage inventory, and have an eye on pricing.
- A natural leader, mentor, and team builder.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Teams, and related operational tools.

**Experience Needed**:

- A solid 24+ months in receiving, with at least 12 of those in a leadership role.

L’OCA Quality Market is an emerging specialty grocer and gourmet food retailer in Canada whose purpose is to “Spread the Love” by delivering a world-class food experience. Our core values are Quality, Scratch, Theatre, Service, and Love. Each location is comprised of a full artisanal market experience, including full-service restaurant(s), where traditional artisanal craftsmanship and service on the front end meets new world technology and innovation on the back end. A revolutionary purchasing and org structure, supported by custom technology, allows us to leverage efficiency across the business unit to drive scratch perishable production, massive prepared foods selection, full carcass meat programs, and world class service in a cost-effective format. There is also a special place in our hearts for quality local and Canadian products and we aim to deliver positive change to the food chain through a focus on local sourcing and private label partnerships. We are currently laying the groundwork for a national chain focused initially on western Canada. Our first location is 48k square feet, and located in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
