**Summary**

The Portfolio Manager will be focused on business development through Volkswagen of Newmarket’s client database, to promote and sell cash, lease, and finance renewals. They will be responsible for establishing client retention processes and actively selling through use of the Service Department Database, Auto Alert and other portfolio management databases. In addition, they will educate clients on various dealer options while promoting an overall positive customer focused retail environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Provides customers with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties.
- Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
- Reviews sales agreement with the customer to ensure vehicle, options and price are correct.
- Completes paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provides customers with a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
- Calls and coordinates with customers to explain leasing services and renewals.
- Monitors and organizes appointments and customer account information in One Eighty.
- Maintains customer and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure.
- Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Valid OMVIC License
- 2-5 years of experience in similar capacity and/or administration is required.
- One-Eighty and CDK experience is required.
- Proficient with the following computer environments: Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and Outlook.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
- Must be able to communicate in verbal and written English.
- Detail oriented, organized and able to multi-task.
- Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
