**About the position**:

- As a Technical Documentation Specialist at Engineering Department, you hold a vital role in shaping the clarity, accuracy, and accessibility of technical documentation working with both textual and visual content. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including engineering and production, your focus is on producing detailed and user-friendly documentation that supports both clients and internal manufacturing operations.- Your responsibilities encompass creating comprehensive parts catalogues, ensuring accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) management, crafting clear assembly instructions, and developing detailed specification sheets for our products. Through your contributions, you not only facilitate effective communication but also drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement within WeighPack's manufacturing landscape.**Outcomes of this role**:

- Enhanced Clarity in Technical Documentation: your meticulous work will provide the clarity, ensuring that both internal teams and clients can easily understand complex engineering information.
- Improved Product Support: By developing comprehensive parts catalogues and detailed specification sheets, you will empower both clients and internal teams to have a deeper understanding of the products.
- Facilitated Cross-Functional Collaboration: By gathering information from diverse teams and translating it into user-friendly documentation, you'll foster a cohesive working environment that results in better communication and alignment among various stakeholders.
- Continuous Process Improvement: Your involvement in creating documentation for internal manufacturing processes will provide valuable insights into areas that can be optimized and streamlined.
- Knowledge Sharing and Standardization: Your role as a documentation expert will foster a culture of knowledge sharing and standardization within the organization.

**Other things we look for***:

- Technical degree or diploma in engineering, industrial design or other related fields.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in document management software and MS Office.
- Experience with Solidworks and Composer is an asset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
