**Responsibilities**:
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data platforms and advanced analytics capabilities.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, data scientists, and engineers, to identify business requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.:
- Oversee the development of end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion to visual analytics using Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
- Manage, enhance, maintain, and support our Snowflake-based data lake, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Utilize Matillion Studio for ETL processes and leverage Airflow for workflow management to streamline data processing.
- Lead and mentor data engineers, business intelligence developers, and other technical team members.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, driving agile development practices and encouraging continuous improvement.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of a library of analytical functions written in Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
- Support business intelligence developers in creating stunning visual analytics and data-driven business insights.
- Develop and implement advanced analytics techniques and machine learning models to drive new business value and capabilities.
- Capture and present actionable insights to stakeholders, driving data-informed decision-making.
- Establish scalable, efficient, and automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, validation, and implementation.
- Ensure effective real-time model implementations and new feature creations in collaboration with software engineering teams.
- Leverage key features of Snowflake for data processing, entitlements, ingestion, transformation, and data sharing.
- Identify and mine data from existing and new sources, executing primary data gathering efforts and scaling new methods as needed.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating new approaches to enhance data platform capabilities.
- Capture and present data-driven business insights.
- Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation and model implementation.
- Work closely with software engineering teams to drive real-time model implementations and new feature creations.
- Leverage existing data sources, identify and mine data from new sources, identify opportunities for and execute primary data gathering efforts, and provide recommendations on scaling new methods more broadly.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on data platforms or related technologies.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, big data technologies, and analytics platforms. Familiarity with SQL, Python, or similar languages is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing projects with multiple dependencies and stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred.
