**What your role will be responsible for**:

- Steering the daily production, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity by following GMP & HACCP regulations.
- Leading, mentoring, and motivating a diverse team to meet production goals.
- Work like cookies & cream with R&D, Quality, maintenance, scheduling, and warehousing to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of customer orders.
- Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement by addressing equipment downtime, production shortages, and efficiency enhancements.
- Collaborating on production schedules to meet inventory levels and customer demands, while managing budgets and reducing costs.
- Coordinate the hiring, coaching and mentoring of dry production workforce in collaboration with People and Development and employment agencies to ensure team excellence.
- Take pride in crafting operating plans and budgets to ensure the efficiency and consistency of the production operations.

**What you need to succeed in this role**:

- Proven leadership experience in a food manufacturing or similar environment, with a knack for motivating teams and solving complex operational challenges.
- Minimum Post-Secondary diploma or recognized equivalent.
- A hands-on approach with a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring all products meet customer and regulatory standards.
- Strong computer and M365 system knowledge
- Strong knowledge and passion towards BRCGS, HACCP, GMP, and JHSC regulations
- Excellent communication skills in a multicultural environment.
- Flexibility to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends.

- Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and safety regulations (JHSC, OHSA).
- Ability to think quickly, mobilize resources, and drive timely execution of tasks.
- A continuous learner with a proactive attitude towards embracing change and innovation.
- High energy, self-motivated, always on-the-go.
- Physical ability to stand & walk for the entire shift and lift up to 25kg.
