**Norstar Windows and Doors has created a new position of Project Coordinator. **This person would assist the project managers in administering their construction contracts and manage the documentation related to the project.

**What you will be doing**
- Manage project documentation including contracts, drawings, purchase orders (PO), shop drawings, all correspondence, equipment deliveries, etc.
- Review of project contract scope against bid scope and reconciliation of differences with GC. Determines if there are gaps in the scope as defined by estimating
- During Project handover from Estimating, review project specifications, drawings, equipment PO, Sub-contractors PO, schedules, budget data and all other project related documentation.
- Prior to start of project, ensure that rental equipment has been ordered, paperwork is in order (e.g. Notice of Project, Form 1000, Building Permits, etc.) and installation materials are included on the order
- Coordinate submissions and maintain the as-built drawings for the project
- Work with Project Managers and Project Accountant (PA) to determine progress invoicing
- Ensure back charges and change orders are signed off by the GC, drawings and/or materials are arranged/ordered and communicate with the PA to ensure the cost changes are reflected in the Project Billing
- Work with the Logistics Coordinator to coordinate delivery of finished products and installation materials to job site
- Work with the PA to oversee subcontractor and material costs, ensuring projects remain within budget
- Schedule recurring project update meetings with various stakeholders & record meeting minutes
- At Project Completion, works with PA to determine that all project invoicing has been completed
- At "near" Project Completion, implements the necessary tasks to achieve project closeout, including a billing review and final site review

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Administrator in the Construction industry
- Experience working with Institutional, Commercial and/or Industrial (ICI) Construction projects
- Diploma or Degree from a Construction related program, OR an equivalent combination of technical training & experience
- Demonstrated ability to balance tasks relates to multiple construction projects
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
- Good Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Drivers License in good standing
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
