Natural Stone Traders Inc. (NST Stone) is a wholesaler of outdoor natural stone and outdoor porcelain for residential & commercial projects across Ontario and beyond. We aspire to provide a selection of our stones at every retail landscaping supply.

**Who We Are**

Since 2012, NST Stone has been manufacturing and wholesaling outdoor natural stone and porcelain. Our main office and yard are located in Southern Ontario. We supply various Landscaping Supply stores and Garden Centres in Toronto, the GTA and beyond.

Our goal is to provide the highest quality stones with the best customer service. It makes us happy to see our stone being used by landscapers, designers and homeowners alike. We aspire to help people choose the best products for their outdoor spaces for years to enjoy.

**Responsibilities**
- Majority of the work is in the field, meeting owners & managers while travelling to assigned cities within and possibly around Ontario.
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients and identifying new sales opportunities through various channels.
- Research prospects, cold-call through daily **in person visits**, set further appointments, make effective sales, and manage continued sales cycles. Track progress at each step. Follow up with supervisor.
- Possess in-depth product knowledge, conduct demos. Willingness to learn. Read and relay numerical information like product sizing. Represent the company well.
- Be comfortable to speak to a wide variety of people from all walks of life.
- Assist in creating promotional materials in digital and print formats. Edit pictures.
- Schedule and follow up with customers to get feedback on products and pictures of our products. Adjust techniques according to interactions.
- Keep up to date with market and industry trends through in person events and educational webinars. Be outgoing at social events.
- Brainstorm ideas for social media, edit posts and write short blogs.

**Skills & Requirements**
- High School diploma. University/College Degree in Geology, Business, Marketing, Theatre and/or Communications is preferred.
- Minimum 6 months of customer service-sales experience required.
- 1 year outside sales experience in any field is preferred but willing to train someone passionate about stone, tile, landscaping, and sales.
- Knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, Maps, and M.S. Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to make long distance travels. G license. Must own your own car. Gas is paid.
- Self-motivated with excellent prioritization/time management skills.
- Designing on Canva plus an understanding of social media, is an asset.
- Experience taking pictures is an asset and using photo editing apps.
- Be able to lift and move at least 30 lbs and up to 50 lbs, if needed.
- Preparing samples of stone, display boards and managing your displays.
- Passion for beautifully built outdoor spaces is a must. We love construction & nature

**Compensation, Perks & Benefits**
- 40-50K annual salary + Commission based on experience.
- 4% Vacation Pay.

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
